Tournament time is here basketball fans. The GBB team will host Barnes County North in Rosholt tomorrow (2/10) for the District 1 play-in game. This is a Varsity only game and will start at 5:00. This is a state sponsored game so no passes will be accepted and the state sets the admission price. $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. The District 1 tournament will be held at Lisbon on Feb. 13th, 14th and 16th. See the attached bracket for the tournament. Come out and support the girls tomorrow evening at 5:00 in Rosholt as they try earn their spot in the tournament. They will need a big crowd and plenty of support now that it is tournament time. A couple announcements for JH BBB. Picture day is Friday at practice. Also attached is the bracket for the tournament in Hankinson on Saturday. Transportation is still being worked out. Parents if you plan on driving your athlete directly to the tournament in Hankinson please let Coach Loll know as soon as you can. This will help us make proper transportation arrangements. Last Friday nigh we got to recognize our Tri-State Tigers Shot Club members. This was the first year of the Shot Club, and we are extremely proud of the work, commitment, and dedication shown to our basketball programs. The rules were simple, athletes could shoot at any hoop, with free throws and weak-hand shots counting as two.

We also want to extend a BIG thank you to the Tri-State Booster Club for sponsoring the Shot Club and supporting our student-athletes.

GBB related announcements for the week. Tonight the GBB team travels to Gwinner to take on the Sargent County Bulldogs. C game at 4:30 with JV and Varsity to follow. The game will be streamed on Your Live Event. Search Your Live Event in YouTube and find the game. There will be a C game on Friday vs. Florence/Henry at Henry. That game will start at 5:00. And lastly we were able to reschedule the Border West GBB game that was postponed earlier this season. That game will be played on Saturday, February 7th in Rosholt. JV at 2:00 with Varsity to follow. This will be the last regular season game for GBB. Go Tigers!!!!!!

Tonight the BBB and GBB teams take on the Langford Lions in Rosholt. Here is the order of the games. JV Boys 4:00, JV Girls 5:00, Varsity Boys 6:00 and Varsity Girls 7:30. It is Boys Basketball parents night and that will be announced at halftime of the Girls Varsity game (around 8:00). There will be refreshments following. Go Tigers!!!!!!!

There will be no BBB or GBB practice this evening (1/21). Boys Parent's Night will be Monday, January 26th in Rosholt and Girls Parent's Night will be Thursday, January 29th in Fairmount. Parents get in free to the game that night and we will have refreshments following the game. Go Tigers!!!!!!!!
