The junior high track meet scheduled for 4/27 in Britton has been cancelled. All athletes will have practice tomorrow.

The JH Track team travels to Forman today for the Sargent County Invite. Track meet start times are field events at 3:00 and running events at 4:00 so please help spread that word. Check out the order of events image attached to this post. Go Tigers!!!!

There will be a Spring Football Player Meeting in Fairmount on Wednesday, May 6th, at 10:30am for students currently in grades 6-11 to discuss the upcoming season, summer schedule, and gather info. Lunch will be provided. I am looking forward to serving as Head Football Coach once again! Go Tigers!!

Tomorrow is the first outdoor varsity track meet of the year. The meet is in Milbank and we have a lot of athletes competing this year which is wonderful. See the attached image for the order of events for tomorrow. Go Tigers!!!!

Snow couldn’t keep them away! ❄️🏀 Our annual Alumni Basketball Game was a huge success with a great turnout. The young guys (they’re still old, just not as old as the other team) held off a late comeback from the old guys to win by 2! Always a great time seeing everyone back, catching up, and proving they’ve still got it. Already looking forward to next year!

Reminder: The winter sports banquet is Sunday, March 29th at 5:30pm in the Fairmount Gym. The Track and Field parent/athlete meeting is before the banquet at 5:00pm in the Fairmount gym. Please help spread the word. Go Tigers!!!

The 2026 Boy's Golf season is about to begin. The opening meeting is scheduled for March 31 at 4:00pm in Fairmount and all returning and prospective golfers and their parents are invited to join us. The first day of practice is April 6 with location TBD. Coach Nelson

Quick track update for everyone. We will be starting practice on March 12th, and the Parent/Athlete Meeting will be on the 15th. The meeting will be at the gym in Fairmount at 6 PM. Last Friday nigh we got to recognize our Tri-State Tigers Shot Club members. This was the first year of the Shot Club, and we are extremely proud of the work, commitment, and dedication shown to our basketball programs. The rules were simple, athletes could shoot at any hoop, with free throws and weak-hand shots counting as two.

We also want to extend a BIG thank you to the Tri-State Booster Club for sponsoring the Shot Club and supporting our student-athletes.
