Quick track update for everyone. We will be starting practice on March 12th, and the Parent/Athlete Meeting will be on the 15th. The meeting will be at the gym in Fairmount at 6 PM. Last Friday nigh we got to recognize our Tri-State Tigers Shot Club members. This was the first year of the Shot Club, and we are extremely proud of the work, commitment, and dedication shown to our basketball programs. The rules were simple, athletes could shoot at any hoop, with free throws and weak-hand shots counting as two.

Ashtyn Kriz was able to secure 20th place at the region meet yesterday in Webster which qualifies her to run in the state cross country meet next Friday October 24th in Huron. We had other runners who were also very close to qualifying. It was tough competition but everyone ran hard and finished the regular season strong!
Congratulations to Emma Fritz who finished in third place overall in the August 28th Junior Varsity Golf Invitational at The Springs in Gwinner. Emma is a first year player and has progressed very quickly.
Coach Krueger is now using Team Reach as Boys Basketball's main platform for communication. He sent out a remind message about it as well. If any boys going into grades 9-12 that plan on playing basketball please join the basketball group, and if you are a parent/guardian please join the parent group. Please let Mr. Krueger know if you have any questions.

When watching the games on our new streaming service, the games are entered as separate JV and Varsity events. Those streams are set to end at a certain time but will overlap. Some people reached out to me and said that the stream stopped with 5 minutes left in the Varsity game. That was because some were still watching the JV stream. The best thing to do would be to get in the habit of switching over to the Varsity game once the JV game is over. Go Tigers!
